Who We Are

Christy Martinez, Owner & Lead Bookkeeper

Hello! My name is Christy Martinez. You will find that my resume is as varied as the many clients that I have served throughout my life. I have held jobs that ranged from professional wallpaper hanger, to industrial electrical and automation project manager.

After all these different jobs here and there, it was in the fall of 2018 that I began to work for a solo attorney as his real estate closing secretary. Before long, I was promoted to the office manager and handled all the bookkeeping for the firm including balancing the operating, escrow and trust accounts, as well as the payroll duties.

I’ve seen first-hand how overwhelming it can be for a small business owner to “wear all the hats” and keep so many things going while still working on your business. Now that the attorney I had worked for has retired, I want to help small businesses to get their time back. I have taken extensive training to build on my skills - and continue to take courses to stay on top of current changes and requirements put upon business owners.

With all that said, my goal is to keep your books clean and lower expenses where we can. I can't wait to see how my firm can help YOU get back to doing what you are good at! And leaving the bookkeeping to us.

Megan Rose, Assistant Bookkeeper

Hi! I’m Megan Rose. I have worked in customer service jobs since I was a teenager. I’ve held many positions, including management and training, to inventory and ordering.

One thing I pride myself in, is my ability to work well with money. From the basics of opening a new cash register, to closing down a business for the day by balancing all registers and the safe, my goal is always 100% accurate records. But when there are errors or discrepancies, I’m your girl for rooting out those problems so we can get them fixed as soon as possible!

After being hired on at the same law office as Christy, I found myself learning how to handle money in new ways. I assisted with entering and categorizing daily expenses into QuickBooks, making sure all were accounted for. In addition, I helped with the monthly reconciliation of the main operating account.

It’s been quite enjoyable for me to still use my skills with money management in new ways, and I look forward to helping you and your business by finding things that can be easily overlooked and making sure everything balances!
